The end of summer and beginning of fall have been packed full for the Darling calendar. From dinners, to a brunch series, to our fall issue launch party, we’ve kept ourselves busy with events.

In late August, we traveled up to Redding, CA to throw a back porch Darling dinner for 40 women. Designed by Audra of Lattes and Linen the evening was an epic one of conversation that lasted into the late hours of the night. Audra’s design was intricate and personal, leaving a succulent at each seat for guests to take home.
The dinner was hosted at the perfect Airbnb home, complete with back porch swings and gorgeous fireplaces. Our chef and curator of the evening was Kara of by Kara Elise, who served a farm to table family style meal and whiskey cocktails. We spent the evening chatting about the things in life that bring us joy, and dreaming big for the fall approaching. The night was captured beautifully by Christine of Twin Sparrow photography.
In July, we began our brunch series with the SOHO house in West Hollywood, where we brought together panelists to speak on a topic related to an article in the current issue. Each month we gathered about 50 women and chatted about 3 different topics including healthy indulgence, the art of small talk, and perspectives on dating.
It was an insightful and enlightening series that brought life to articles we love. It was such an enjoyable experience to bring together the expertise of panelists, coupled with the opinions and experiences of all of the women who attended. Kara from By Kara Elise moderated each panel, while panelists offered their varying insights on the given topic.
In early October, we had the opportunity to partner with Ripley Rader, One Hope Wine, and By Kara Elise to throw our quarterly party that celebrates the launch of each issue. The fall issue is one we are immensely proud of, and we were so fortunate to gather together 150 of our friends and readers to celebrate the issue in style at the Ripley Rader Studio.
The evening consisted of delicious wine from One Hope, including their October Chardonnay that was created with the intention of raising funds for breast cancer awareness. The Darling girls were dressed in style by Ripley Rader- head to toe in feminine and comfortable style. The party was designed and curated by Kara Elise, with rooftop toasts and photo booth ops.
