Windows
our window view
became a screen of dreams
a candle lit
a humble appetizer of tuna
on rice crackers with chèvre
as if we dine at a Michelin Star restaurant
the Eiffel Tower sparkles
with a blushing sky
the pile of dishes to the left
and smell of tuna
perhaps this is all real
and yet romantic
two co-existing
the ideal and the real
meeting in the present
giving thanks for each moment
not counting seconds
as you said in perfect poetry to me,
“with you time behaves differently”
we don’t need TV
when we have a window and sky
to pass time and let it process
sinking in to the view
of me and you
