a baby in a lounging dock with a potted plant next to her

I recently had my second son and returned home from the hospital to a world emerging from quarantine, an adventurous and active toddler and a business to run—there is a lot to juggle! Whether it’s cleaning, managing the house, making meals or working from home, my hands are always occupied. I find that I need somewhere to set my little one down in every room, which is why I absolutely love the DockATot. It simplifies my routine, allowing me to set my son down comfortably and allow him to lounge beside me throughout the day.

Created in Sweden by founder Lisa Furuland Kotsianis, DockATot is a versatile lounging, playing, chilling, resting and snuggling dock for babies and tots. Designed by one mom for all moms, the brand focuses on a baby’s comfort while also emphasizing convenience and versatility for moms.

With my first son, we even traveled to Europe with our DockATot! Their traveling cover is perfect for taking it anywhere.

DockATot offers docking stations for newborns up to toddlers. The Deluxe+ is the smaller version (0-8 months) and the Grand is the larger version (8 – 36+ months). They offer a variety of covers to add a little style, and they even offer personalization and will embroider it for you with a special script font and gold thread.

Whether you are choosing to gift it to another mom or keeping it as a keepsake, the quality of the product makes it a standout. There’s also an outdoor, Cabana Kit option for poolside days with baby this summer and a toy arch and toy set for mix-and-match play.

I love that the product is both luxurious and an affordable price. My favorite part is the new, cloud grey color option, which is both chic and gender neutral. It is by far the most soothing color for babies—versus bright pinks or blues—and it goes perfectly with any home decor scheme.

DockATot stands out to me as a mom because of its priority on babies’ safety and security with its Oeko-Tex certification. There’s a huge difference between organic and Oeko-Tex. Oeko-Tex is the leading textile, leather and accessories testing certification system that ensures products are safe and gentle on children’s skin.

Testing is conducted for several hundreds of substances and potentially harmful chemicals. The company voluntarily follows the strictest product classes and covers products for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old.

As a mom, it makes me feel confident to know that my baby is able to lounge in the DockATot safely and that no harmful products will be touching his skin. If you can give a mom safety plus quality, comfort and convenience, then you have a product worth keeping for years to come.
