Have you heard? We just released our first travel series, “Go, Be You,” with Alaska Airlines! So we’re spending the next eight weeks highlighting every city we toured across the West Coast. This travel series is about more than the destination itself; we’re taking a look at why certain cities have the power to unlock the best versions of ourselves. As you get to planning your next trip, we hope you enjoy the suggestions that follow.
And don’t miss the Albuquerque episode at the end of this post!
Dreamers are those folks who have a certain freedom and mystery in their step, and they exude an energy that intrigues those around them to get a peek into the daily story they write. They believe that everything has a purpose and deeper meaning — that even though we are holistic beings tangibly rooted on this planet, we cannot forget that this world is infused with the spiritual.
Albuquerque is a city handcrafted for the dreamer. With deep roots dating back to the 1700s, Albuquerque boasts stunning landscape, expansive mountain ranges and endless blue skies. You’ll find it off the legendary Route 66 with an untamed beauty that still lingers and whispers softly through its vibrant culture and the heartbeat of its people who have remained. It’s a city that speaks of rich heritage and a legacy that once ran wild and free.
From stretches of colorful landscape that line the Rio Grande to the smell of mesquite and green chile that settles around you in the dry, arid temperature, this is a place for the senses. Let your eyes scan the peak of the Sandia Mountains and watch the dancing orange and purple sunsets that stretch on for miles. You’ll find your spirit awaken to imagination here, a place of dreaming where only the impossible seems possible.
There’s a mystery to Albuquerque that’s waiting to be uncovered; it speaks the same fierce and gentle language nestled deep within the heart of the dreamer, and if you find yourself in town, below will show you where to start.

I love this so much! Albuquerque is one of my favorite travel spots here in the Southwest. I just love the Native American inspired decor, the hot air balloons, the history and the food. I mean c’mon, who doesn’t want green chile on everything?
Oh my goodness! Love that you’re highlighting my hometown <3
