This year at Darling we’ve had the opportunity to take our events on the road and visit readers in some of our favorite places. Its been such a unique experience to bring together Darling readers from their local cities, and to create an environment for women meet one another and dive into one another’s lives.
Though its just around the corner from LA, Darling made its first event appearance in San Diego in mid April. We gathered together some of the most talented local vendors to create a cocktail party at Pow Wow Design Studio.
Melissa and Corbin from Pow Wow own a design studio in San Diego that set the stage for a perfectly designed event. Along with Jill from Layered Vintage and Kara from Willow and Niche, the night was a curated experience of crafted cocktails, delectable bites, and friends gathering to celebrate power of community and collaboration.
With last minute rainstorms, we enlisted the help of Intent Productions who pulled together a beautiful stretch tent to shelter us from the rain. The night was a lovely evening of conversation and celebrating some of San Diego’s best.
From Jill of Layered Vintage:
Not only are we celebrating the art of being a woman, but also the art of collaborating and supporting local talent with all our vendors!
