A Note From Our Guest Editor*, Estée: I’ve loved Darling magazine ever since the first issue I read, which was introduced to me by my friend Ingrid Nilsen. When I was asked by the team to write an article for the magazine, I was absolutely thrilled. The whole day for the photoshoot was magnificent, I had such a fun day and the whole shoot took me out of my comfort zone, something I’m very thankful for as I was so happy with how the pictures turned out. Make sure you check out the video included in the post!
This was hands down one of the best experiences of my entire life. It was as wonderful as it seems and the team was so great to work with. We listened to cool music, I got to wear clothes I never would have normally worn and I got to try being a model for today. Oh, and Darling got me a chicken parm sandwich for lunch which I’m still daydreaming about!
I was styled by Van Van Alonso who totally got my vibe, photographed by Kathryna Hancock who gave me wonderful direction and made me feel comfortable, and had my hair and makeup done by Ashley Bourdon who gave me my face, but better. The photos have not been retouched, which I think is brilliant.
We’ve loved having Estée on to guest edit The Beautician this month! Continue to follow her beautiful adventures in London and beyond on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

What a treat, Estee is such a doll. She continues to inspire me in so many ways, happy to see her with the lovely group at Darling Magazine. I love it when two awesome worlds collide. xo
Estee is such a huge inspiration for me. She combines style with down-to-earth realness that is so refreshing. I enjoyed her take on what it was like behind the scenes. Please have her come back soon! <3
